HD300 static burst

Hey,

 

When I'm using the HD300 to record (really it's only use for me) I get a rather painfull burst of static through the headphones every few minutes. Is this a known issue? Does anyone know what can be done to remedy this?

    Sounds like a problem with the plug on your headphones.  No similar problem on my end.

    If you run the Monkey do you have green ticks for everything?

    As suggested, run L6 Monkey and make sure the HD's firmware is up to date.

    I can recall a firmware issue a while back that had similar symptoms to what you have said.

    A question mark for falsh mem is a problem.

     

    Do the burst happen if the unit is not connected to a computer?

    I would remove the old one from your account and definitely register the new.
