POD HD300 USB + Driver Connectivity issue!

Heya,

 

I recently recieved my brandnew HD300, guitar is coming in within the next weeks.

 

I have been checking out the features on the board itself and decided to prepare all the software so by the time my guitar is in stock again and gets delivered i can start patching with the Edit software.

 

I started with installing the Line 6 Monkey v1.41 and making an account.

 

Now: after the first time i installed the drivers + the edit software and updated what had to be updated, everything seemed to work fine EXEPT when I entered the Edit software. There I saw the 'no line 6 device connected' message.

I continued with looking for a solution and read that most people having this issue get told to check the usb cable, try different usb ports (don't use a usb-dock) etc.

 

After I didn't find a solution for this, i decided to reinstall everything, now however things work even less and i'm not sure how that is even possible but ye... this is the problem right now:

 

When i install the drivers my pc doesn't recognize the pod anymore. When I go back to the Monkey updater, it doesn't say the drivers got updated AND if i try to 'connect' to my pod on the section left of the window the connection doesn't respond either so i'm stuck there too.

 

+ when I connect my usb cable to my pod I get the '3 beep connect sound' instead of the normal 2 beeps.

 

I have also installed the software on a laptop, there i have the problem that the installations go fine, i get the 2 beeps when connecting the pod to the laptop but when it's connected, i get the popup balloon that says 'no device found'.

 

 

What are the next steps i have to take in order for my pc to recognize my pod?

    I'm having almost the same problem here, but my laptop is a macbook.

    Anyone can help us?

      First, please fill out your computer support profile at the following link so that we know what kind of computer system you are working with:

      Typically, the problem you describe is due to a connection problem as you mentioned with either the USB ports, cable, or drivers.

       

      Please completely uninstall the Line 6 software and drivers using the Line 6 uninstaller.  Then, re-install the latest driver.  Remove all other USB devices from the computer (except for a mouse and keyboard on a desktop computer) while troubleshooting this problem.  Completely remove ANY USB hubs, even if not in use, and test on all of the computer's USB ports.

       

      Do this on any computer you can test with.  Try a different cable if necessary.

       

      If the problem persists, and it has a connection problem on all computers, I suggest taking it to a service center:

      Tried everything, reboot, remove all USB-cables, unistall all line 6 devices (repeated 8 hrs) didnt help

      System is Vista SP2 so i installed windows 7 same problem, so i tried (Vista SP2) laptop didnt work.

      Help please i should go to studio should sell this POD HD300 crap(?) and buy Boss as my bandmate has it and no probs with Boss.

      Theres still almost 2 year warranty left if i sell this maybe someone buys this and ill buy Boss

       

      Please fix these bugs im very dissapointed for this unfinished product.

       

      All other line 6 devices had worked with no probs (KB37, POD UX1 which i sold and bought this crap POD HD300)
