Spider IV odor

My Spider IV 75 gives off this slight sour type of odor from the back electronics compartment even after about 6 weeks of use.  Is this normal?  Had one day when the volume was very low but do not know if that may fave been the FBV MKII. That has been fine since.  Just wonering if something is going on with the smell and all.

    Was it new, in a sealed box when you got it?  Something may have got spilled in/on it at some point - they do get warm although not as hot as tube amps.

      I was thinking that it could be all the glue and adhesives used in the cab itself. I've work with mdf board and it can have a sourish smell depending on humidity and what not. I've also noticed the same thing with my 75, but it not as noticeable anymore. Probably used to it now.

    Yeah, that's what I was thinking. The amp is not getting hot at all.  Usually it is quite dry here, but the last week has been very humid, so that could explain why I'm noticing it more.  Thanks!

    I just got my iv 75 Tuesday and i have a small man cave and it STINKS really bad even kinda burns my eyes. Im statring to get buyers remorse the smell and cutting out when i change the presets are both anoying but it sounds really good when its working.

    I am noticing the smell is worse as in stronger the more i play it if i just turn it on and not play anything i can smell it but not that bad but as soon as i start to play it gets 10x worse.
