Quick question

I have an HD 500 and a DT 50 1x12 Combo and I love it so far. I have been able to tap in to the advise and dialog here to avoid alot of the growning pains. My question is when I move effect around pre amplifier model in the signal chain there is a loud pop thru the combo. The noise I hear / feel cant' be healthy for combo. I have tried turning off the amp model of in POD edit before moving the effect, I've tried turning the effects off nothing seems to make a difference. Do I actually have to put my combo on stand by to move effects around pre amp model?

Thanx again for all the insight.

    Re: Quick question

My advice is that you do exactly that, put the combo on stand by, at least while you wait for an answer from somebody who can actually help you.
Something I would do too is to create/edit the patch, let's say "without the amp", and by that I mean using just the modelling, and when you're happy

with the overall sound of the patch, being less likely to have to move blocks, plug the HD to the amp and tweak further
