hi guys i just tried to update the guitar with the new update... and its not working ..

i have gone through http://line6.com/support/docs/DOC-1633 that you have provided but its to no avail.

my guitar seems to be stuck on one guitar model .. and the tunings knob is not working either... i am connecting it into my hd500 which is connected to my laptop through a usb cable.. i am not using any usb hubs and my guitar volume knob is not on 0. i have tried connecting with both the 1/4 jack and the line 6 cable. any ideas what i might be missing?

also after the update it says your guitar has been updated successfully.

i have also tried to reset to factory defaults using the method defined in the guitar manual pdf. after the red light flashing 3 times in the model selector knob, the guitar tuning selection knob turned green ... and then went blank .. the guitar seems to be stuck on one model .. which i think is an acoustic ..

can anyone assist with this ?? i have litrally run out of options here...

i tried connecting my jtv 89 using the usb interface .. and neither line 6 monkey nor workbench can seem to detect it ... they are both showing guitar as not connected ..

the usb interface end where i connect the guitar ... is showing a blinking red light ... and when i press the model selector button on the guitar .. the light inside the knob is not going on again ..
