volume pedal on a HD500. It just randomly stopped working.

I called tech support and entered a support ticket, but then it just started working again. Now a week or so later, the pedal again went out. No amount of turning on/off, letting sit, or attempts at recalibration have had any effect. Anyone else out there with pedal problems?
Sounds like an intermittent connection to me. I'd keep going with the support ticket.

Thank you. I left the unit alone for awhile, went thru the calibration proceedure (again) and when I finally got response, I pluged in and played. The pedal continued to work as a volume pedal, but about the 2nd or third switch to using the wah, ie engaging the toe switch, the pedal lost connectivity . I wonder why letting the unit sit for a few hours resets the ability to used the pedal again if indeed a short is causing it to go out in the first place? very frustrating and odd

Try this....
Once you have the volume pedal set up with the patch, manually save the patch (dont use the edit program)...
See if this keeps the volume pedal working in the patch...
