For those of you that have the M20d, any chance some of you can take a video of the M20d in action during one of your live gigs and make it available for the rest of us to feast our eyes (and ears) on while 1) we try to decide whether M20d is right for us, or 2) we save our money to buy one. ;-)
I got my desk today and doing my first sound engineering job with it tomorrow. I will try and get a video. If you have any questions about it i will happy answer them. But the way, first gig tonight, i was amazed at the ease of use and cleanness of the sound.
Very difficult room! Couldn't get a decent kick sound with the time available for soundcheck...
But you get the idea. Notice the incredible vocal sound in a very difficult room!
Mais um portugues ca??? Hello Antonio!!!
Sirchip, I see your using a snake , get yourself an Ipad and USB wifi, so much quicker and easier.
Tell me about it! iPad's next on the list. Already grabbed the USB WIFI.
A pretty rough recording mix, but not too shabby for the first go around... https://dl.dropbox.com/u/33048994/Your%20Love%20Never%20Fails.mp3
Here's the Stagescape in action. Well, sort of. Wanted to see how well it recorded 6 tracks of drums. You can see the board a little bit in the upper right corner. http://vimeo.com/m/49281948
Friday, September 21s thru Sunday, I will be running a different type of festival. 20 musicians in a hotel meeting room with about 30 fans. This is just an excuse for the musicians to get together with friends / (strangers!) and jam till the cows come home. There is not really a schedule, sort of an open mic, where anywhere from 1 to 10 musicians will be jamming at a time. So this will be a fun “stress” test of the mixer. I will try to control who plugs into which input, but am sure that there will be some surprises. Friday it is Noon till midnight, Saturday is 10AM until ???? and Sunday 11AM until 6PM.
The reason I am mentioning on this discussion, is that the show will be broadcast live @ https://new.livestream.com/gwampa/RI If you want to see the SS live, in action, do come to this site, and in the chat section, request the camera shows the SS. (Yes, you have to register to chat!). Will be happy to show what we are doing, answer any questions live.
Yes, the videos will be saved on this site for later viewing.
