I've had my JT Variax about 8 months now. About 6 months ago I bought a Variax cable and have been powering through my HD500.

I thought that would keep the battery charged but I guess not. Last month I made a trip  with the JTV69 only the battery was stone cold dead.

When I first went to charge it seemed like it wouldn't take a charge.and took a lot longer than the 4-6 hours it used to take.

So what do you do with you battery? I'm thinking I should take it out because it is not being used and charge it once a month or so.

Anyone know what line 6' postioin on this is?
