Why don't the Pod HD300's and 400's (along with the spider iv and i think the spider valve) have the distortion and eq fx seperated into different catagories? those two seem to be the key to shaping alot of metal sounds. i generally have a screamer along with a 4 band shift running on my 500 and now i have a 300 and was just wondering why we dont have a firmware update to seperate them. i think it would make alot of people happy if that were to happen ![]()
thank you for your time
Dan
Or just let the USER not design geeks determine what 4 types of fx they want in the 4 blocks
that assumes that the DSP % is the same for any effect... they are specifically placed to limit DSP issues...
the 500 lets users pick and choose.
Yup, I had the same frustration a year ago when I bought my 300...........I was working around it using an external EQ, but the box is still limited. Got my HD500 in yesterday, and the 300 and the external EQ are going up for sale as soon as I get the time to list them online. Do yourself a favor and get the HD5, you won't regret it.
