How to check which version of pod I have?

Hello everyone.

I've recently bought second hand Line 6 POD and I've thought that it was the 2.0 one. It looks exactly like 2.0 but I can't access to the additional 16 amp models by holding TAP button (It seems like there is no change when I turn the knob). The same is as far as cabs are concerned (The TAP + turning effects knob changes nothing).

How to check which version I have?

And if it turns out I have a version older than 2.0 - is it possible to connect it to PC? I have MIDI_USB cable however I cannot connect it using 2.0 software. Does the oldest version PODs need any other software? When I check at the download section of this site I cannot find the Line 6 Edit version for Line 6 POD older than 2.0...

What can I do?

Can anybody help me to solve this?

And is it possible to upgrade older versions to 2.0?

Now I've foun out that I don't have those "Clip", "Midi" and "edited" marks under the display and it seems that my POD has only one digit "area" on the display instead of three in 2.0.

So I have the older version, but which one?

And how to upgrade it or at least connect to pc just to have access to amps and cabs?

HELP
