What are my options for reamping through the dream rig? I haven't had much luck so far. It was easy on the Vetta, but Line 6 went out of their way to make it impossible with the dream rig.

Supposedly, the HD500 can't send more than one digital output, this isn't true, as it will send a signal to the amp via the link cable, and a signal out via USB. I could live with this if I could send a dry signal via the USB connection, but that isn't possible. The SPIDIF is the only way to get a dry signal, and it wont work with the L6 Link cable plugged in. Can the HD Pro send both signals?

The only reason I bought the HD500 was for recording, I don't have any use for all the effects,  I do that on the computer. All I wanted was a way to split the digital signal between the amp and the computer. The outputs are there, they just don't work. I hate the HD 500 almost as much as I love my DT25 and JTV-59. Just having it plugged in makes the amp sound worse. Line 6 really dropped the ball on this. There should be a disclaimer on the box saying saying this device isn't compatible with its own I/O. Its like buying a new receiver only to get it home and find out you can only listen through one speaker at a time. Sheesh.
