Okay so I am gonna start this off by saying I know so little about recording music and computers that if I were to decribe my knowledge in a analogy using the US school system I would be in kindergarden.
But any way here is my setup.
I have the Line 6 POD HD Desktop connected through the usb 2.0 to USB cord. ( Bought the POD Used) I have no drivers for it.
KRK Rokit 6's Just connected to the L/R Output of the POD

This Computer Build ^^^
I am using Windows 7 Home Premium
I am currently running a 64bit demo version of the DAW Reaper
I plan on using Superior drummer for drums later and some synth VST's for ambient crap
Basically the problem is that I can not find my POD in the Audio Device Preferences to put it on a track and to start recording.
Also if I were to set the HD to the Audio I/O in Reaper will my monitors work using the HD as the sound card.
Also would VST programs like Superior Drummers be considered plugins?
Thats all I have for right now any help would be so useful. I know I have a long learning curve ahead of me but i don't care I want to be able to do this or help people out in the future like you guys will me.
Thank You.
you need the drivers: http://line6.com/software/
start there and things will start coming together.
Thanks man.
