2 questions - please respond to either / both - thanks

1)  the tuner on my Shortboard doesn't seem anywhere near as accurate as the one on my Pod.  Is there a way to calibrate / modify?

2) I cannot find anything in the manual about how you really use Stomp, Delay, Reverb or Compression foot switches - any suggestions ?
