Printing the setlist

Does anyone know if it is possible to export the setlist in the editor to an asci doc or another format which can be edited. Would be nice to make playlist for your gig.
It's not a supported feature or capability in the editor. I think the bundle data file would have to be reverse-engineered somehow.
Somebody did this a while back with the .xlm format for X3L bundles that allowed you to put the files into spreadsheet and print the list from there.
I dont know if it is possible with the HD500 format, but I hope somebody with the necessary skills has a few evenings free to look at this (or of course the Line6 SW engineers - when they have finished working on the new update of course
)
I hear ya, I mentioned this would be a nice feature to be able to print out the patch settings or playlist in some useable format so setting up new playlists or trying to tweak a patch, or share info with another user can be done easily. This way you can do things like grab the EQ setting from one patch and the delay from another and configure your patch with out having to load the other patch, take notes, load a 3rd patch take notes, and return to the original new patch.
As always - if you think it would be a useful make sure that you request it as a new feature. Line 6 have an excellent record of responding to user feature requests.
Here is the link
A long, long time ago, I can still remember when Line 6 Edit had the ability to export the patch list and you could drop it into Word or Excel.
I do wish they'd bring that little feature back.

by looking at the binary file it should not be difficult to make a utility to perform this (and more) task. Line6 could make and document an API to accomplish this. I would like to be able to create setlists onthefly from the command line, outside the editor. The editor takes way too much time and is a bit cumbersome.
I just got my HD500, and #1 I'm kinda OCD, and #2 I'm not sure if patches are overwritten with each firmware upgrade, so I made a list in Excel. Hmmm... I don't see a way to upload a file though.. I've seen others upload bundles and such, can regular attachments be added? I'm using the most current version of Firefox, but about to switch back to IE8 bc I've been having lots of problems.
If you want to generate a CSV file of your setlists, I wrote a program some time ago to do this.
