pod xt flash memory malfunction

monkey ,the newest version, do not recognize the flash memorys, in the panel appear as a question mark (?), so i can not updated and also cant reset to factory preset, the thing i wish, and does not work with the footswitch FB4, for youre help and time thanks.

what version firmware are you runnig? does it say pedal or fbv?

  Have you had any success with re-flashing your XT?
  
  I have had my POD XT for nearly a decade and has worked flawless until now. When powered up, it now shows a dimly lit blank display. I updated Line 6 Monkey and drivers with the intent to re-flash the unit but the flash memory is not recognized in Monkey. It shows a question mark.
  
  Does anyone know if the unit is officially dead or is there a way to get fired up again?

    if you check the serial number on the xt and it reads all zeros, it's probably gone. you can try reflash in safe mode

    The LCD is blank so no chance on checking the numbers. The unit doesn't start up in safe mode so it may be time for retirement after many years of great service.
