I want to use the 4 Cable method with my 6505+ and obviously just use some delays and mod effects and wah with the dirty sounds.  No problem there.

However, when it comes to clean sounds, can I then bypass the preamp on the 6505+ completely and go direct to the poweramp and use the Line 6 clean tones?

One more question since I'm here, when using the 4 cable method and bypassing the amp models, does the Pod have any effect that would increase my volume for a solo boost?
