Hey
I'm studying for a degree in Music at the moment at University and am looking to expand my at home recording facilities.
I have a Line 6 UX2 and various other recording softwares but at the moment i'm on the look out for some monitor speakers to plug into my UX2
I'm not too sure what i need or what im looking for.
If anyone could name some brands for me, or point me in the right direction that'd be great ![]()
Many Thanks!
The most commonly recommended studio monitors that I see on this forum are the Rokits. Of course, the bigger the speaker size the better (and the more costly) but I definitely would not go lower than 5". That's the smallest available in the Rokit series, but other maufactureres go smaller. Don't do it.
The Rokit 5" are the most affordable, but the 6" sound so much better that you will want the 8".
(or even the RP10-3 if you want to push some serious low end!)
