Looper Disable

Is there any way to disable the looper so I dont constantly turn it on every time I hit my stomp switch on my MK11 when playing live?

Have you updated your Pod HD firmware to the latest release? I know this release fixed some bugs re: MkII interoperability. I don't know if your particular symptom was involved.

Hmmm - there is no way to disable the Looper function on the Pod HD/Pro, and I don't think there is a way to remap the Function#1 button on the MkII from the Looper on/off toggle.

I have seen a thread with a very simple solution for the Looper footswitch on the HD500, and I think it would work for you. Wrap a thick rubber band tightly around the base of the Function#1 footswitch. That should provide enough interference so that the switch will not depress sufficiently to activate the contact switch beneath it when depressed mistakenly.

.... or, you could take dancing lessons..........

assuming the dancing lessons don't work out ...

I took my acoustic guitar into a local luthier last week for a setup and was moaning that I was having trouble finding a suitable straplock to fit over the endpin jack and screw-on strap button,  He hit me with his solution ...

A rubber washer with a hole that was slightly smaller than the endpin jack barrel.,  They are a realy tight fit but stay on brilliantly.

I mention this because, if you really have no use for the looper, you could probably use the same trick to semi-permanently stop off the button with a couple of washers forced over the footswitch.   Available from good hardware stores!
