Deleting and renaming patches in POD edit pro

Can anyone please tell me how to delete a patch/file in POD edit pro, also can you rename a patch once imported because when I try it the name reverts back to the original. These two things are probably very simple once you know how, I think I am just missing something.....don't say it,yes a brain lol.
Regards
(I am using a POD HD Pro and the lastest version of pro edit software)
You can't really delete tones, just rename them something like UN-USED so you'll know to overwrite the slot.
to rename, i just select the tone, hit F2 type the new name hit enter... then make sure you send the tone back to the pod from edit or it will get the old name back.
OK, the way I do this: To "delete" a patch I just drag & drop an empty patch to the one I don't need anymore. To rename: right click the patchname change the name and use the TAB key to move out of the field. In both cased send the updates to the POD HD otherwise the changes will not be permanent.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
