How to sell Powerpak, Podfarm, then toneport UX1

Hello,

I have an old Toneport UX1 that I want to sell, I already remove the packs and deauthorise the device.

I want to know if I just have to click on "gift" from purchase history to another account to transfer the pack to the buyer ? Do the buyer will be able to use it on any Line 6 product available with the pack?

I bought a Bass expa, sion + Fx Junkie, and it seems that I will not be able to sold them separatly ?

I' sorry to ask all that questions, but in France the french documentation is poor, and the process to sell a Line 6 device is not easy. A buyer send back to me the UX1 because he was notable to use it, so it is not very fine.

Thanks for your reply with a clear answer, I don't want the next buyer complain that he can't use my toneport or the pack that I sold !!!!

If you gift the expansion pack, they will be able to use it as if they had purchased it themselves.

You cannot separate something that you purchased as a bundle.

Worst case scenario,  if you have problems gifting, you could remove all your personal info from your Line6 account, change your password to something generic, and surrender it to the new owner.

Some special offers are not eligible for gifting.

If you do not own other Line6 gear or other vested interest in your Line6 account, you could always surrender your account to the new owner. Of course removing all your personal details and changing the password.

The FX Junkie may be redundant, where it may come into play is if you own a separate hardware independent POD Farm 2 license, you would also have access to the FX junkie without nee9ng the UX connected.

Also, any POD Farm 2 license can upgrade to 2.5 for free.

    Clear as mud?

As Zap suggested, you can contact Line6 directly to find out for sure, but in the past before "gifting" was available, many just surrendered their account.
