Of the three . . .

I know that there are three different JTV and each has their own vibe, but what model lets you string bend with the most ease?  Does each model have the same modeling sounds?

Thanks!

I have only played the 59, but theoretically you would think the shorter 24-9/16 scale on the 59 would make it the easiest to bend.

Both the 69 and 89 have a 25-1/2" scale. Over the years of playing different guitars, it always seems to me that the "gibson type" shorter scales seem to bend easier than the longer "fender type".

I agree with Ade though I didn't have problems bending on the 89 I had.

As far as models, they're all the same, except with update 1.9 the JTV-89 has models of its own magnetic pickups in its Custom Bank 1. From what I've read here, eventually those modern high gain models will be available for the other JTVs. I don't think there has been an official announcement of that though.

YirWaffy, Do you know if all 3 models have the same thickness frets?
I find that taller frets give you room to get more flesh "under" the string, making bending easier with less chances of your finger slipping off the top of the string.

Ade, I haven't played a 59 and only demo'd a 69 for a short while when I was on a trip. I think the 69 has slightly smaller frets than the 89. In the product pages here, the 59 & 69 are listed as medium-jumbo while the 89 has jumbo frets.

to me the neck feel made it more comfortable to bend on the 89
