How to set M5 to send MIDI PC commands to a second M5?

I've got 2 M5s in my pedalboard.  They do great things by themselves, but I'd love to be able to set them up so that (for a fwe songs) switching to a new preset on one will automatically select an associated preset on the second unit.

Is it possible to program this without using a computer interface / software?  In other words, can I set this up just from the two units?

The manual seems to indicate that the units can both send and receive program change commands, but I can't figure out how to initiate those commands from unit to the other.

Any ideas?

When you select a preset on the M5, the MIDI PC message associated with that preset is sent from the MIDI out. As long as you have a MIDI cable going from the MIDI out of the M5 you want to use as the master to the MIDI in of the one you want to use as a slave, that's all you'd have to do (make sure they're set to the same MIDI channel, of course). You can't change the MIDI mapping of the pedals, though. It is what it is.

Also, one caveat. The M5 also sends a CC when you turn the effect on or off within the preset, and that will affect the effect within the preset on the other M5 as well. Same thing goes for the expression pedal. If you have an expression pedal attached to the master M5, it will control the expression pedal parameter of the slave.
