Help

Hi

I hav just bought a JTV 69 (K). In the shop the guitar was working properly while a shop assistant was testing it for me. Now back home I can not make it work. I connected it to my amp as well as to my Pod HD 500. I press the selector  knob, the led lit but the sounds doesn't change from a kind of "neutral" sound. There is no response from the guitar for all: tone, volume knobs, tuning switch, 5 ways switch, pratically from any of them.

Anyone can help me? I run Monkey and all is fully updated.

    Does the guitar work with the mag pickups, when modeling is turned off?

     

    If you are using the battery for power, is your battery fully charged? If you are using the VDI - HD500 connection, are you sure your cable is good?

      Thanks for the quick reply.

      The mag pickups are working sometimes and sometimes not. Did not get why this happens (I restarted pc few times and after connecting again I experienced the problem with the magnet). The battery is fully charged or almost full. Cable is good since it works with a Variax 300.

      As I said in the shop (connected to an amp) the guitar worked fine. I wonder if it has to do with the firmware upgrade.

      while answering your message i realzed I should have tried to reinstall the firmware. And it worked!! So all fine now.
