POD Farm 2.5 Standard + Guitar Port + FBV Shortboard Mkii?

This is probably a rookie question but here it goes...

Can I buy/use a FBV Shortboard Mkii (through USB) to use the expression/volume pedal and switch banks with my current software and gear (I am using a guitar port + Pod Farm 2.5 with all add-ons except Bass Expansion).

I don't own any of the compatible line 6 gear, amp or pod, that uses the RJ-45 port connection.

The Shortboard MkII will do what you are describing, except for the changing banks part. There is no "bank" concept in PF 2.5. It will allow you to cycle through presets though. It doesn't use the RJ-45 port when you use it with a computer, you use it via the USB port.
