X3 live to computer connection

I have my x3 connected by usb. Monkey and drivers updated, and it see's the X3. Now i would like to see the pedal on my computer to start programming. What step have I missed ?? help .....

Do you have the X3 editor, called Gearbox? That's what you use to edit (program) X3 patches using your computer.

Run Line 6 Monkey with the X3 connected. It will help you download and install Gearbox.
