UX2 not detected

Hello

 

I have owned a UX2 for approximately 12 months. It has worked fine until today either through Gearbox, Pod Farm or as a plug in via Ableton Live .However today when connected it to the laptop via USB there is no response at all from the UX2. The needles do not move and the lights do not flash. I have tried 3 different USB cables without joy and have tried all the different USB's on the PC. I am not using a USB hub.

 

I have tried connecting the UX2 to a different laptop with the same results.

 

I have tried updating the drivers and the Line6 monkey says that it cannot detect the UX2, I have also uninstalled the drivers, downloaded and installed the latest drivers. All to no gain.

 

Finally I have tried plugging my GuitarPort into the laptop and this seems to work fine.

 

Do you have any further suggestions please?

    If the GP works fine, and the UX2 does not work through another PC, then I would surmise that your UX2 is broken.  Unfortunately, they are not reparable.  Is it still under warranty?
