    Wow

I'm a .Net developer myself. I went on a vacation over Thanksgiving thinking that I would write an editor when I got back. You beat me to it and probably did a nicer job than I would have! Very, very nice. I have about a hundred feature requests! Again, really, really nice.

    Re: DT Editor

Awesome. It was so frustrating that Line 6 released an update that basically nobody could use. Why their engineers couldn't have released the update WITH an editor is beyond me. MidiOX did nothing but send a stream of nonsense to my amp, causing a ticking sound and flickering lights. Totally unusable for human beings.

I have a Mobilizer II on the way, but am used to using a PC. Can't wait to try this when I get home from work.

I've only had my DT50 for a few weeks. Sounds so great with my HD500. If only I hadn't broken the pathetically weak preset knob on the HD500, making it unusable without a computer.

    Fantastic!

Now all we need is an electronics whizz to build a floorboard so we can switch between saved settings on stage.

    Yeah, that's what I thought i'd bought my HD500 for too :-)

THANK YOU ROLLO!  I've just installed and toyed around with it and what a breeze!  Just a quick report that everything works smoothly, intuitively - goodbye MIDI OX!  I'll surely play around with it more in time but I just wanted to add my thanks immediately for your work!

    Re: DT Editor

Looks really good. Too bad I can't use it yet (MAC user).

    I have a few questions:

    1. The project page screen shot shows Volume dial in the Master section. Does this really work? I did not see any MIDI control documented for it.
    2. Are the I,II,III,IV selection in the Preamp A and B sections select the program slot, i.e., the channel/voicing combo's 0-7 as Line 6 labeled them?
    3. Are the I,II,III,IV selection in the Poweramp A and B sections select the voicings used when this channel is selected? If yes, maybe Voicings (as Line 6 calls them) would be a better label?

Great contribution like many said before. I looking forward to using it in the future.

    Martin

Today I've tried DT Edit and I really like it, it saved me from some quality time with MIDI-OX I hope you've going to implement loading and saving in near future so we can share our favorite amp settings with other DT users!

    Re: DT Editor

    Once again thanks for this!

I finally got chance to play with this some more today, main reason was that I wanted to see what it would report back about the "out of the box" settings (as i'm still having trouble getting my HD500 to nail the sounds I can get from the standalone amp so was looking for clues).

    What I saw was:

    I - Blackface Double Norm.

    II - Brit P-75 Bright

    III - Class A-30

    IV - Treadplate

What suprised me was that I was expecting to see no cab models, but the A-30 and Treadplate used a 2x12 Silver Bell and4x12 Tread V-30 respectively.

Is this what other people have seen?

    Cheers!

    Re: DT Editor

    Hi,

This is exactly, what i was wondering! I dialed a great Rectifier sound to my DT50 and wanted to make it as my main tone for Pod Hd500 and add some pedals to it too. After little tweaking, i manage to get that sound. But i had to enable Cab sim to achive the same sound. The amp settings are same in pod hd500 as they were in DT50.

I think this is how DT50 has it amps setup as default.

    Great Job! Looks really professional.

Hope you get the last missing info from line6 soon so you can finnish it.

Great value as it is right now! Thanks.
