HD300 DC-3G adapter rattling sound

I got an HD300 two weeks ago and have been really impressed with the sound quality. Leagues better that the XT (which itself was a great modeler in its time) or even Amplitube and AmpKit.
The supplied DC-3G power adapter gives me cause for concern, though. I noticed that it produces a rattling sound when shaken along the axis of the contact prongs. Just wanted to ask other DC-3G/HD300 owners engineers whether this is normal or if there's something loose in my unit that can cause malfunction or failure later (possibly taking out the HD300 when it conks out).
doesn't sound normal... i'd give support a call: http://line6.com/company/contact/
they'll likely send you a warranty replacement.
Thanks Zap. I already submitted a support ticket. But I think the quickest way to get answers is for other DC-3G users to check whether their units also exhibit this rattling sound. Anyone? ![]()
I have several of these, and don't have the issue.
Hmm. Looks like I'll be returning the adapter to the store, then. Hopefully they'll have another unit to exchange it with. Thanks for your help!
"There's a snake in my boot"-Woody from Disneys Toy Story! I need to get a spare for my HD300. Love the unit-nervous about the power adapter.
The exchange was a success. No more rattling on the new unit!
