If you are asking about the heel fit, it's perfect it was actually a smidge more snug than the original neck.  As has been mentioned of this forum before, 3 out of 4 of the pilot holes match up, there is just that one offset bolt for which you will have to drill your own pilot hole.  I didn't bother plugging the other hole on the neck you can't see it, it's still covered by body of the guitar.  The neck didn't come with pilot holes for the machine heads but I found that by getting them pretty snug with the nut on the front it was just a matter of using a straight edge at the back to get them all straight I drilled the pilot holes with the machine heads in place and then just put the screws in.

I finished the setup this morning a little tweaking of the truss rod, and some adjustments on the bridge saddle heights and I now have the action perfect not a buzz to be heard any string, any fret. I could probably take it lower but I like it where I have it now ... which is just a bit lower than the original neck was set up for.

I really do notice the difference on the compound radius, it's just like Warmoth claims, nice and comfy for chording at the nut and a little flatter as you get up around the 12 fret so bending is easier.  In short it plays like a dream now... I have the best of all worlds.

Hey Laelamiles, all I can say is this JTV made it to Canada I have heard rumblings that there are now some 59's to be found.  I got this end of July when it seemed bo one else up here had one.  And the serial number would suggest its one of the earlier made guitars made in Dec 2010 #104 of the batch.  It's interesting to me to ponder how it wound up in my hands but at the end of the day I'm extremely grateful that it's here.  Thanks for the compliment, I'm not much of a guitar repair guy but I took a shot and it turned out perfect so I'm happy and gained some experience along the way.

No, on the Warmoth site it says that with certain Fenders that have the offset bolt that it will be on a collision course with the side adjuster screw, as it turns out though on the JTV that offset bolt doesn't line up with the adjuster screw.  Fortunately for me I didn't see that warnng until after I bought the neck and installed it.  Just blind luck that it worked out, but if i had read that earlier it might have scared me off from buying the neck. 

Yup that should work.  I wound up putting my own on but the variax tuners will fit perfectly.  3 of the 4 holes line up properly so you just need to drill one pilot hole for the 4th screw, which I did with the other 3 screws in.  I also put the two E strings on so that I could make sure the neck was sitting straight before I drilled the pilot hole.  you'll need to drill pilot holes for the tuners as well.  The way I conquered that was to put them all on with the front nuts and washers only. Then using a straight edge on the back I was able to square them all up and drill the pilot holes and screw them in all while they were in place.  If you're careful you should be able to manage.  If you need to take it to someone for a final set up then it might save you a bit.  If you don't feel confident taking on the job, I don't think it should cost you too much.  I don't think I would want to pay more than $150 for a job like that including set up.
