Problems with UX1 and POD Farm 2 authorization?

I just got the Line 6 Pod studio UX1 interface with POD Farm 2. But when I pull up the POD farm software it says that it must be licenced to use it fully and not in the demo mode. How do i get the licence key surely it must be included with the UX1?

you need to register it, then run the license manager that is part of line6 monkey... log in, and authorize the UX1.
assuming you bought the UX1 new, the license should be included and you should have no problem authorizing it.

  I have brought it as new, and I have also registered the hardware (pod studio ux1) on the website. Bt when using the licence manager it only shows up that my laptop is registered not the ux1. And the pod farm 2 is still running in demo mode. Ill download this line6 monkey and see if it any use. Thanks for your help.

    the license manager is part of monkey... so you should already have that installed... or else we are calling something else the license manager...
    
    the license belongs to the UX1, so that will certainly need to be plugged in... you are probably already doing this.

      Thanks alot, Ive managed to get it all working now with POD farm. But my problems unfortuneately do not end there. I have Reason limited Line 6 edition bundled with my UX1 and the disk doesnt want to run the .exe file to install the program, are you aware of anywhere i could download it then punch in the licence key? I have had a look but all i could find was reason limited not the line 6 edition. Thanks alot for your help.

        unfortunately I don't... you might try contacting the propellerhead people.
        if it's like ableton, registering on their site would allow you to download the latest...
        in fact i've never used the included disc because of this.

        It all seemed to be working now when i plug my ux1 in and start up pod farm it come up with failed to initialize L6TWXY Framework. What is going on here?

        i want to say it's probably a c++ addon from microsoft you can download to fix this...
        but reinstalling should install that for you.
