Upgrading from xtlive to HD500, can I still use podfarm?

I have a podxt live with pod farm plug in (which i bought). Im thinking of upgrading to an HD500. The problem is that podfarm plug in only works when i connect the podxt live as a dongle to my pc via usb. Since Im thinking of selling it and buying the HD500, is there anyway I could still use the podfarm plug in to record, without connecting the xtlive?
