  get an adapter that is dual mono 1/4" on one side and stereo 1/8 phone plug on the other, go from the Main outs on the SR-16 to the CD/MP3 in on the POD.

    Yep. That worked. Thanks. Used the headphone out on the Alesis into the CD/MP3 HD300 input....and volia... Let there be drums...there were drums!
