Hi all knowing forum.
I am giong to buy a new computer for recording purposes. It seems that the one i'll get is equipped with USB3.0 only.
So here comes my question:
Is anyone expecting troubles/ issues when hooking up the POD via USB 3.0 for recording/ software updates???
Thank you for your help,
DonLuigi
According to this website (http://www.everythingusb.com/superspeed-usb.html) USB 3 is backward compatible with USB 2.
no problem, as Jim pointed out though... will only work at the level of the device... you won't get usb 3 speeds... but working as a usb 2 device won't be a problem... that and you are a little future proofed for the next generation of devices...
Hi, I've had problems with usb 3.0 My pc often unexpectedly crashed. Once connected to the USB 2,0 is all ok.(POD HD Bean, Windows 7 64, Intel Core I7 3,5GHz, 16GB Ram, GTX 660Ti)
Maybe it was only a problem in my pc, I do not know.
Sorry for my bad english.

Maybe it was a problem with Reaper. Sometimes if you unplug the power supply cable from the POD and you have Reaper opened, you may get a General Protection Fault (the classical blue screen).
