HD500 and Tube Combo

What is the best configuration of the POD HD500 to exploit a tube combo(front input and fx loop send/return)?

use the preamp models, and going into the fx return would probably be the most ideal... some amps require a dummy plug in the input to work like that....
but at the end of the day the real answer is whatever is making your ears happy.

As per Zap and Joel if you want to use the amp modelling on the POD only.

If you want pre-amp sounds from the combo also then there are other methods (Pod in front of amp, Pod in the Loop or 4CM depending on what you use the POD for).
