Please help...Spider IV 15 and FBV Shortboard MKII

Hi all...
I was just given a Shortboard MKII for xmas. (Have to go pick up still) but in looking online here at it's capabilities, I noticed that it isn't compatible with my amp - Spider IV 15.
Not to doubt the makers here but is that actually true?
Has there been an update that changes that?
Does anybody actually use this configuration with success?
Don't mean to sound desparate but I'd hate to have to give this new gift up.
Thanks for any assistance, guidance, advice you can give...
RV
it has an FBV port, i'd guess that it works like my spider 3/30 does...
meaning that there will be alot of buttons that you can't use....
but it's still useful.
you can select the 4 presets (bank up and down won't do anything)
the tuner would probably work, and so would the expression pedal.
the fbv mkii express would probably be a better fit...
but the shortboard will be better if you ever upgrade the amp.
I can't guarantee this though as i don't have the same amp as you...
I'm not sure, but I wanted to let you know, I also have the Spider IV 15 with an FBV Express MkII. I also have an HD150 MkII Half Stack.
The pedal board is practically, new. And when I say that, I mean it's practically new. You won't be able to tell the difference.
If you wanted to, I'd be willing to trade you for your Shortboard MkII. I'd rather have that for my half stack. Of course, we can discuss sweetening the deal considering the trade of two different pedal boards.
Let me what you think.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
