How to make 2 monitors a stereo pair?

Hi,
I have 2 in-ear monitors in my setup (left and right) and I'd like now to make a stereo pair with the new SS version. I follow the instructions in the latest user manual but when I select one of the monitor icons a Make stereo button will NOT appear. How come? Thank you.
Cheers
The "make stereo" button appears when you plug in an XLR cable in to monitor out A and B or C and D. You can also create a stereo monitor by putting a stereo monitor preset on stage.
Nothing appears when I plug in the XLR cables. Do I have to delete the monitors I had up to now to recreate them as a stereo pair? But then it means I will lose the settings...
drag on the desktop the new icon "stereo monitor"
There's no "stereo monitor" icon in the library, only a "monitor" icon...
If you scroll all the way to to the right there is a "More" folder in the gallery. When no icon on stage is selected the option "add to stage" lets you add a preset to the stage. You find the stereo monitors in the "Output" category. If you rename the preset and drag it into the gallery you can drag it on stage from there.
I had already looked in the More folder but did not realize it was in the Output subfolder... :-) Thank you Arne!
