Advantage of full-range amp to use w/ HD?

I'm currently running my HD300 thru the effect loop of a Fender Mustang III.  Is there an advantage of running it thru a full-range amp like a powered monitor or a keyboard amp?

it depends on personal tastes if it is an advantage or not, but when you run the POD through a FRFR system theoretically you should hear the modeled gear sounds as they were in origin without any added color..

when you run your POD through the power-amp-cabinet of a guitar amp you get the result of the POD-AMP union, which can be really good but has its own precise character..

the best thing to do is to try both solutions and decide which you like the most

It's two different animals IMHO....When you use an conventional guitar amp, you are listening to your tone coming out of a guitar cabinet...When you run FRFR, you are listening to what a given mic model sounds like on whatever cabinet model you have selected...Also, the interaction of the guitar with an FRFR cabinet is slightly different that a conventional guitar...guitar cabinets generally don't have tweeters...
