Configuration software easy to use for making patches?

Hi

 

Thinking about POD HD Pro not having to crawl on the floor to make patches.

 

But a HD500 and software - can you just as easy make everything there and save as patches that are available on floorboard?

I don't see many HD Pro ads but plenty HD500, so that's why I wonder.

 

Or is that software for other purposes mostly?
