Looper function

So, my Pod HD500's looper function has been acting freakin' weird lately. Usually, when I record a loop, I can change to another preset just fine. But as of late, when I record a loop, it will literally change tones to whatever tone I change it to, I won't stay to what I originally recorded it as. I have no clue what to do from here :/
It seems you have changed looper possition in FX chain from "post" to "pre". You can change it back using second upper footswitch (from right) when in looper mode.
I definitely tried that. I always record in post btw.
Hmm, that's strange, your description of your problem fits to changing looper possition from "post" to "pre"... Do you see looper icon as last one in your FX chain?
Is it just as simple as recording in Post? cause I've tried both ways, and it still changes effects when I switch.
I've just tried it on my own HD500 and if I'm in pre mode (looper icon first one in fx chain) when I change patch, it change looper tone. If I'm in post mode (looper icon last one in fx chain) changing patch doesn't have any influence on tone. Note, that If you are in looper mode, it actually doesn't say current mode (pre or post) but it says mode you will change it to if you step on that footswitch.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
