Hi,
I created a stereo monitor for my IEM system but how can I pan an input more left or right in it? Thank you.
Cheers
I am not near my M20d to test this, but my interpretation of the manual page 3-12 (Monitor Settings) suggests that you would do this by adjusting either the Send or Output levels of the selected Channel in Deep Tweak mode with Monitors selected for the display. With both monitors displayed and available for the selected Channel (the manual shows Female Lead) I would try setting the Output levels for the 2 monitors differently, to reflect your desired panning.
Hi,
When you use a stereo monitor output the pan does the same sa in the main mix. If you have a channel panned left in your main mix it will be panned left in the monitor. If you have a stereo input channel it will be panned left- right etc.
Cheers,
Arne
Thank you. It's too bad because I wanted to recreate in my IEM the environment I have on stage. For instance I wanted to pan the other singer a bit to my left and my own voice in the middle without changing what the audience hears...
I think panning in the front PA and the stereo monitors should be independant, just like volumes, or there should be a function to make it so.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
