Hiya all,
www.2seemy.com is an interface that takes a feed from the inbuilt screen and splits it so you can run an LCD monitor via a vga connector on the split.
It is not currently available for the floorboard HDs
I have sent an email to Wilfred asking if he would consider an adapter.
It will require minimal modification and void those units still under warranty.
Check the web address above for more info.
I have initiated a poll which would be good if you vote on
What do you think?
Cheers

I think it's ridiculously expensive. At $80-$100 USD I might consider it.
A don't think you (or Wilfred) will find enough users who would buy it to at least pay development/modification of existing version. And as snhirsch suggested, price would need to be lower than any of existing versions. And also I don't feel need to have something like this. I don't do big modificaion on stage, only some volume balancing and at home I can use HD edit...
Yes it is costly at about half the overall HD500 cost but it is still less than an AxeII or a Kemper with the visual.
It is true it might only be wanted by a few (poor eyesight) but from my experience in nearly all live situations I am often making refinements to my patches when I can, usually sound check to suit the room. But mainly I like seeing what is on the screen without having to crouch down and a 15"
monitor on its back in the pedalboard would be so cool to have.
But as i go into varying PAs the solution could be a more expensive one and lug my own Amp, but that defeats one of the main HD's purposes I bought it for.
It may never be developed. I did ask Wilfred, he has not responded as quickly as he usually does so perhaps he is looking into it.
2seemy is probably only viable on the HD500.
still no word from Wilfred.
Wilfred replied to my email thanking me for the idea. (How do I copy paste? All I get is insert link and and it doesn't work)
Anyway to paraphase.
Wilfred agrees the cost is the bigest problem and is searching for a sollution.
