Effects after loop not working in 4-cable method.

I'm running a Pod HD Pro through a Mesa Boogie Mark V using the 4-cable method. Effects placed in front of the amp work, however, certain effects need to be placed after the amp to sound good at all. When placing effects after the amp in the Pod's loop, they don't work at all. Any help is appreciated.

Make sure that you have the Mark V effects loop turned on, because your post-amp effects return to the Mark V at its effects return. If the Mark V's effects loop is bypassed, then the Mark V power will only receive the output of its own preamp, without any of the Pod post-amp effects.

  +1 wgclack. Classic symptom that the amp loop is turned off.

    Haha, I'll try this when I get home. If this is the problem I'm going to go into a small corner and cry myself to sleep. Thanks for being so nice. I'll letcha know .
