Vetta 2 patch retention

Hi.

I recently bought a secondhand vetta 2 combo and I have two questions about the operation of the amp.

I've noticed that when the combo is switched back on after about 20 mins it is set to a higher bank of patches than that set before it was switched off.

Also, the display panel needs to be tapped lightly before illuminating.

Do these suggest a problem with the amp? Is it a simple matter to resolve?

Thanks for your help.

Brendan

It sounds as if it may be ready for a new battery. The display problem is probably just a loose connector. It should be easy to put it all right. Replace the battery and then wiggle and press the connector home on the display board a couple of times.

Yes, you'll have to take it apart so if you're not comfortable doing that, find a friend who's comfortable digging around the bowels of PCs and such to give you a hand.  You'll need a new CR2430 3V lithium battery.
