DT50 LVM direct out - effect loop bypassed!?

The direct out of my DT50 112 was perfect in firmware 1.2. After I have installed firmware 2.0, the direct out gone totally bizzare. It sound bright and horrible, and in LVM mode, standby or not, the level is arround 22 db lower than before, and my newest discovery being that the effect loop in LVM mode is bypassed in the direct out!

No matter what I plugged into the effect loop, the LVM direct out still only gives me pre effect loop guitar sound. The cab speaker gives me the sound from the effect loop though.

I went as far as to feed pink noise into the effect return, and while the amp speaker plays the pink noise, the direct out gives me a guitar sound!! It's totally bizzare.

This problem is non-existen in firmware 1.2. And I have repeatedly re-installed the latest firmware 2.0, but the behaviour of the direct out remains.

Is it just me having this problem? Is there anyone out there actually using the direct out of the DT50?

DT50 was made to be like the DT25...Nothing really compares to the sound of the output tranny.

Anyway, the DT50 XLR did not function in LVM mode when the amp was on standby in 1.2...In 2.0, the XLR is fed directly from the modeling preamp. This is how it is able to work in standby...The side effect of this change is that the FX loop will NOT feed the direct in LVM mode...22db lower sounds about right for LVM with the master at about the same place ...DT25 has always behaved like this...

For some folks this isn't a problem...But I can certainly see how that might be a bit confusing...You could either rollback firmware, or just stay away from LVM mode...
