Scratch-noise trouble

I have some noise problems with my HD POD. It sounds and works at it should, however there's a lot of scratch-noise (Im using it as an interface) when playing games or even YouTube-ingon my laptop. Is that normal on a i7 fitted HP Envy Laptop with 8gb RAM etc? Or is there some software update I've missed?
Thanks

No recent updates but it depends on when you last updated it and what you call recent!
Also, it might be related to gain levels. Check out the post here -->http://line6.com/support/thread/78626 and the linked post regarding sliders and checkboxes that can be set.
Ok. Thanks mate, but it didn't help at all reducing the gain levels ![]()
Am I the only one having this problem? Maybe I should look after a different Interface and use the POD as a recording preamp only?
try using a different USB port... most likely you are using a 3.0 port... using a 2.0 port has worked better for alot of people with newer computers.
It could be an interference from the computer monitor. Verify if the noise disappears as you walk away from the monitor or when you shut it down.
Are you running the laptop on mains power?
I've had two HP laptops and they've both been terrible for power supply noise and other similar laptop noises. Unplug the mains lead and it stops immediately.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
