How to connect mic to Gearbox Gold Plug-in?

I purchased Gearbox Gold Plug-In and there are only guitar input jacks.  How do I connect a mic to record vocals?  Also if I added on Riffworks software, would I be able to record guitar, vocals, and drums?

    Hello,

In order to record vocals you'll need to purchase an XLR to 1/4" cable to go from your mic to the input on the DI. You can also buy adapters that will do this.

You will be able to record guitar, vocals, etc into Riffworks but not at the same time. In order to record multiple inputs at the same time you need to have an actual audio interface that has multiple inputs. The DI has only 1 input.

ive been doing some searching. ive recently bought a shure sm57 for recording with my gearbox (silver bundle) and i am using pod farm 2... i have the mic plugged in to the gear box, quick question for you. is there a setting or something where i can get an actual audible sound, the vocal mic preamps are super super quiet. the mic lead im using is a brand  "hot wires cables" its a hw-mc12-20hz 20feet xlr to qtr high impedance cable... im looking for any help i can get before i submit to the thought of having to buy another plug in specificly for mic recordings...
