Hi,
I presume that HSR101 is mainly for audio recording, but I'm sure that some of you chaps have downloaded music videos from Youtube.
If you download and then try and make a DVD,there are problems with compatability. Therefore you can't do it. The message that comes up is that "you need MPEG-1".
I've searched this on the computer, and sure enough it's not possible to record DVD's without an MPEG-1 converter.
There are numerous software converters on the market, and they seem to be subscription only. There was one which said you could have a go for free to try it out,I think it was Zilla something, but when I downloaded it and tried it,it came back with some other incompatibility message,so I deleted it immediately.
Does anybody know of a solution to this? Preferably free,as I'm not going to burn that many DVD's.
Thanks,
Decca

Thank you for responding to my message.
Can you please tell me which system is free, and have you used it successfully?
Cheers,
