Speakers

   hey my name is kieran blacker

 

i have just bought a line 6 gx and when i hooked it all up i released that you had to listen to the output through headphone

is there a way i could play the output through USB speakers

 

on mac osx 10.5

 

i also use logic express 8

    no there's no way.

     

    usb speakers are actually a usb sound card with speakers build in.  line only support the use of speakers connected to the analog outputs of POD studio and toneport GX's, as this then will use the tone direct low latency monitoring needed for everything to work.

      This makes no sense. Why would you need to direct output to the Pod for eliminating latency? Latency is introduced when converting analog to digital, mainly because of sampling. The other way is easy. If what you said was true you couldn't record anything real time as the recorded sound goes directly to your DAW and not back to the Pod.
