Which Gig Bag Fits KB37?

Hi all,

I just bought a toneport KB37 on closeout at AudioMidi and want to get a giog bag to protect my investment. I was all set to buy the Pod XT Live bag that says is also good for the KB37, but then I read some customer comments that it is a very tight fit. Is there a better fitting gig bag ou there?

I've got a Gator bag that is a perfect fit. I bought it a couple of years ago now, so I can't remember the model no. and it's not on the bag anywhere. I'm sure if you check gatorcases.com you will find it. The number "23" sits in my mind, so that might give you a starting point.

I use the Pod XT Live bag that I had knocking arround since I sold my XT Live a few years back.

it is a snug fit, but it works fine with out any problems for me.

It's not as bad as I thought it would based on what I read.

  Thanks, I did go ahead an order one from Sam Ash using their 20 off 60 promotion. Keeping my fingers crossed. MF shows this Gator model as their recommended accessory if anyone is interested.

        Yes that is the "official" bag and I bought one from SamAsh, but it is a very tight fit. Just don't drop it because the foam is stretched thinner and has less shock protection.

        can the front compartment fit a 13inch laptop? also, does this keyboard require an iLok? any general thoughts you can provide on the kb37 are greatly appreciated. I plan to order this week to trigger my instruments in logic and record audio when on the road.

        You should really start a new thread about the iLok. The KB37 is recognized as a dongle that allows the Line6 software to load. The outer compartment is 9.5"x14.5", too small for your laptop, perfect for my Wind U100 which runs the Gearbox software without incident.

        Works great with Logic.
        
        Snow Leopard is a work in progress at the moment, they are working on better drivers.
        
        as far as putting a laptop in the pocket, apart from it not fitting... the pocket is not padded.
        
        I would not put my MacBook Pro in pocket like that without the protection.
