I can see all mine, very nice!
One thing I noticed now that my amps/models are loaded/reg'd
Line6 Guitar/Bass amp in Record opens about 10X as slow as it used to.
I hope thats only a beta issue for record.
Yea I'm hoping that it's a beta thing also...I can't wait for the release anyway. I found a way to do duel tone in that combinator that works pretty good. I wish we could load pod farm tones directly---mabey in the future
Adam
I just browse from the folder and go >Documents>Line6>Tones>PodFarm
is that what you mean by "load podfarm tones directly" ?
you can even leave the browser open, and just "scroll before selecting"
you will see "missing models" but you can always hit "Replace"
and you should have a good enough substitute.
No I mean when your running dual tone in pod farm you can't open that kind of patch in Record....
oh i got you...
so what do you do?
do you save your dual tones as 2 single tone patches,
and then open them in a combinator with 2 line6 racks?
yea the trick is in the routing when you add the 2nd amp, it wants to be hooked up in series....if you have reason in your set up you can add in a audio splitter/merger and BAM you can wire in a paralell setup that sounds gooooooood!
Hi Ace---Checked out your myspace page, liked your sound. Which amps do you like to use in the software?
Hey Adamf, thanks for checking out my myspace page. Playing with my bands I'm using a marshall dsl100 with a Gmajor in the fx loop. As far as line6 models when I'm at home, so far, I've been lazy. I took the "Du Hast" preset and tweeked it. I think it's treadplate that I'm using but probably not with the gain all the way up. I have all the model packs on my UX2, so I'm really hoping to start diving into "tone tweeking" with all the amps, fx, and cabs. I haven't done much with record yet, but it looks cool. I own reason and for years I wondered why they didn't come out with some audio tracks. Anyway, I will be reading and posting here.
BTW, my models did show up in record. I'll check again on load time. Is there a way to edit you patches while in Record?
I don't know of any ---yet hopefully they will add it in. Hey did you pick up the free POD farm plug in ---if you did'nt you gotta get it, even if you don't use it now just keep it someplace . I paid for mine when it first came out- it's really cool.
I paid for Pod Farm for my UX2, but I wouldn't mind adding it for my UX1 and Pod XT ![]()
I wish they would have midi control over POD farm....I would love to be able to just use my laptop to do what I gotta.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
